San Vicente del Raspeig will have 83 public protection and affordable rental homes starting next year, thanks to the promotion by the Generalitat Valenciana through the Plan Vive.

The City Council has detailed the status of the three developments currently under construction in the municipality, information for which is already available on the specific regional portal. Two of the buildings are located on La Huerta Street, at numbers 9 and 150, where 40 homes intended for affordable rent are being built.
The third development, located on Pizarro Street number 35, at the corner with Bautista Aznar, will house 43 public protection homes that have already been allocated. A municipal spokesperson has also announced that the council plans to tender four additional plots in different neighborhoods of the city, which would allow for the promotion of nearly 90 new protected homes.

"The objective is to expand the affordable residential offer in different areas of the municipality."

The developments incorporate sustainability and energy efficiency criteria, with photovoltaic energy systems, aerothermal heating, and natural climate control solutions. In the case of the building at La Huerta Street number 150, 16 three-bedroom homes are planned with common areas oriented towards neighborhood coexistence, including spaces for social activities, children's areas, and urban agriculture spaces.
Meanwhile, the building at number 9 on the same street will feature 24 two and three-bedroom homes, organized around an interior patio and with common areas on the roof and ground floor for community use. The Pizarro Street development will include 43 homes ranging from one to three bedrooms, with parking and storage rooms in the basement.
The Valencian Housing and Land Entity (EVHA) will inform interested parties about access requirements and application deadlines once the registration processes for these developments are activated.
