The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante hosted the 2nd Regional Dragon Boat Race, a canoeing modality that attracted nearly 360 participants from various autonomous communities, consolidating the city's sports offerings.

The canoeing competition took place last Sunday at Pier 5 of Poniente in the Port of Alicante, within the Digital District. The trophy ceremony was held at the RCRA's social headquarters, also on the same pier, creating a great festive atmosphere among attendees.
To mark the awards ceremony, a Chinese food reception was offered, honoring the origin of this sport. The race proceeded smoothly and quickly, despite the high participation, demonstrating the event's organizational efficiency.

"These types of events are a showcase for Alicante, which gains recognition thanks to nautical sports."

The most prominent clubs in the competition were the Real Club Náutico de Castellón, which secured first place, followed by the Real Club Náutico de Adra (Almería) in second position, and the Club Canoe Almazora (Castellón), which achieved third place.
