The Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, has closed the II Congress on Public Works and Civil Engineering Heritage in Alicante, concluding four days of reflection on the value of infrastructure.

The closing ceremony, held at the Auditorium of the Provincial Council of Alicante (ADDA), marked the end of an event that brought together experts to discuss the historical, cultural, and social relevance of major public works and civil engineering.
The final day of the congress, which began at 09:00 AM, focused on the educational perspective of public works heritage. Additionally, various opportunities that this heritage can offer for the reactivation of local and regional tourism were explored.
The institutional closing, scheduled for 02:00 PM, brought an end to four intense days of presentations and debates. The event served as a platform for reflection on the conservation and dissemination of this legacy, emphasizing its importance for future generations.
