The province of Alicante has started the week with significant complications on its roads, featuring traffic jams, accidents, and obstacles on the roadway, particularly affecting access to the capital.

Since early Monday, several main roads have reported incidents, with the A-70 being one of the most problematic points. Traffic retentions have been detected in various sections, including the Bacarot area, between kilometers 26 and 24 towards Alicante. Irregular traffic flow with congestion has also been observed between Alicante and Santa Faz.
Furthermore, a vehicle fire incident in Sant Joan d’Alacant has further complicated circulation on this key bypass road. The A-7 also presents several points with incidents, especially around Elche, with traffic jams due to an accident between Pla de Sant Josep and Carrús towards Alicante, and the right lane closed in Carrús due to another accident.
The N-332, one of the province's busiest roads, is also experiencing problems. Retentions have been reported in Torrevieja in both directions, congestion in El Altet towards Cartagena, a fixed obstacle in La Mata, and an additional incident in Benidorm.
Other affected roads include the CV-70 in Benidorm, the CV-84 in Carrús, the CV-83 in Fondo, the CV-723 in La Xara, the CV-850 in Orito, and the A-7 in Tibi. Given this situation, it is recommended to exercise extreme caution, check traffic conditions before traveling, and, if possible, seek alternative routes to avoid the most affected sections.
