Pérez Llorca made these statements during a visit to Phase II of the Júcar-Vinalopó post-transfer project, in the municipality of Novelda. He was accompanied by the president of the Alicante Provincial Council, Toni Pérez (PP), mayor Fran Martínez (PSPV-PSOE), and the president of the Central Board of Vinalopó Users, Ángel Urbina.
The president explained that many budget items are in a good state of execution, with sufficient economic allocation. However, he acknowledged that he would like to have his own budgets for this year to regularize the situation derived from the accounts approved after last year's DANA (cold drop).
“"We are open to understanding with all political groups."
Pérez Llorca assured that he does not feel pressured to present the budgets and emphasized that his main concern is to guarantee the Generalitat's economic capacity to face the year's challenges, highlighting that the administration has the necessary resources. He also underscored his willingness to dialogue, making it clear that negotiation with the different parliamentary groups will be a key element when the budget project is presented.
