The program, organized by the Altar de Sant Vicent Ferrer together with the City Council, began on April 7 with the participation of the local altar in the traditional Concurs de Milacres. On this occasion, the play El estudiante resucitado was performed, a competition promoted by the Junta Central Vicentina and Lo Rat Penat that stands out for the quality of its representations.
One of the most anticipated moments was the exaltation of the Clavariesas Mayores, which took place on Friday, April 10, at the Teatro Cervantes. This year, the positions are held by Rebeca Ferrandis Peris as Clavariesa Mayor and Sonia Peris Duro as Clavariesa Mayor Infantil. The event was attended by Vicenta Evangelina Escudero García, Clavariesa Mayor of the Vicentine festivities of Valencia 2026, and concluded with the performance of one of the traditional miracles.
On Saturday, April 11, the altar was set up in Plaza Adolfo Suárez and the images were transferred from the Territori Jove space. The day ended with a Valencian 'sarao' that filled the night with music and a festive atmosphere. Sunday was dedicated to families, with children's activities, a popular snack with chocolate and 'panquemao', another performance of the miracle, and a brotherhood dinner. The evening program included a monologue by Carol Tomás and musical entertainment.
Monday, April 13, will be the central day of the festivity, with the celebration of the main mass at the parish of the Asunción de Nuestra Señora, officiated by parish priest Javier Grande Ballesteros. During the ceremony, the baptism of the girl Adriana Navarro Gil will take place. The day will be completed with more children's activities, a snack of horchata and fartons, traditional games, and the last performance of the miracle, culminating with the transfer of the saint to the home of the new senior clavarios.
“"These festivities represent a living example of Valencian cultural heritage, where the Vicentine tradition, the popular theater of miracles, and community coexistence come together to keep alive a celebration that is part of our municipality's identity."
