Two men were arrested in Sagunt last weekend after a midnight brawl involving bladed weapons disturbed the peace of a central square in the town.

The incident occurred on Saturday, around 00:15 hours, in the Glorieta. The argument began after the individuals met in an establishment and one of them reprimanded the other for previous behavior, which has not been publicly disclosed.
During the dispute, one of the men broke a bottle and threatened the other with the broken glass. However, he ended up with a stab wound to the back from a bladed weapon. This incident mobilized both the Local Police and emergency medical services, who attended to the injured man and then transported him to the hospital.
Later, local officers found the second individual involved in a nearby square with several cutting wounds. He was also treated and taken to the hospital for medical attention.
The first detainee, approximately 40 years old, is accused of serious threats and assault. The second, around 30 years old, is suspected of assault. Both were discharged from the hospital that same night after being treated for their injuries and subsequently transferred to the police station cells.
