The event, held in the assembly hall of the Civic Center, brought together institutional representatives, educational and business professionals, and students who developed innovative projects during the course. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the organization SECOT (Spanish Seniors for Technical Cooperation).
The opening of the event was led by the Councillor for Education, Raúl Palmero. Subsequently, the speaker Andrea Mara Luncan, a lecturer at Universitat Jaume I and CEO of the Jovejobs platform, gave a talk titled “Building opportunities for the next generation,” focusing on opportunities for youth and the connection between training and employment.
During the event, diplomas were awarded to the students participating in this edition's projects. Representing the Sagunto City Council were the Mayor of Sagunto, Darío Moreno; the Councillor for Education, Raúl Palmero; and the Councillor for Industry, Toni Iborra.
Later, members of SECOT presented further recognitions to the students and explained the work of their organization. This action, developed since 2022 in collaboration with SECOT, aims to acknowledge the work of Vocational Training students in the municipality and support the development of innovative projects that contribute to improving society. With this, the Sagunto City Council reaffirms its commitment to education and to generating opportunities for new generations.
