The city of Sagunto has launched a new edition of the Ludi Saguntini, an educational and cultural event running until April 24, bringing together thousands of students from the Valencian Community and throughout Spain.

This festival, aimed at disseminating the culture and society of the classical world, combines the XXIX edition of the Greco-Latin Theater Festival with a wide range of didactic workshops. These activities allow students to approach antiquity in a practical way, offering an immersive learning experience.
The program includes 16 workshops and various thematic spatia focused on areas such as clothing, language, writing, and the military world. Additionally, specific activities have been set up for younger children, such as Olimpomenuts, aimed at children between 1 and 6 years old, and Olimposchola, with performances adapted for students.
In parallel, the Greco-Latin Theater Festival has begun at the Roman Theater with the play The Suppliants, by Euripides, performed by the group Párodos Teatro. Throughout the week, other classical pieces such as Medea, Oedipus Rex, Mostellaria, and Gorgojo will be staged.

"The hard core are the associations, a group of people committed to trying to transmit classical culture in a different way, understanding it not strictly as a part of our past, but also as a part of our present and our future."
