The Elche Book Fair, organized by the Department of Commerce of the Elche City Council, has unveiled its program for the 2026 edition, set to take place from April 17 to 19 at Paseo de la Estación, a new venue chosen to accommodate its growth.

The relocation to Paseo de la Estación addresses the need for a larger space to better host the increasing number of participants and visitors. Caridad Martínez, the councilor for the area, highlighted that the fair will feature over 120 authors and more than 200 book signings scheduled throughout the weekend.
This edition will bring together a total of 15 bookstores, including Ali i Truc, CopiCarrús, L'Extrem, El Salvador, Séneca Jove, Papelería Alcudia, Campusprint Papelería Librería, Librería Punto y Coma, La Pulga, Diógenes Literario, Santos, Monografic Comics/Frikimasters, Frikimon, Librería la Manzanera, and Seneca. Additionally, associations such as Literaturelx, Letra Violeta, and Escritores en su Tinta will participate, and as in previous years, the Municipal Libraries will have their own tent.
Among the invited authors are prominent national and international figures like Gerónimo Stilton and Jordi Sierra i Fabra for younger audiences, as well as acclaimed writers such as Juan Tallón, Jorge Molist, Miguel Gane, Manuel Vilas, Víctor del Árbol, Alejandro Palomas, Rosario Raro, and Pablo Maurette. Authors who were featured in previous editions, such as Lorena Gascón, known on social media as @lapsicologajaputa, will also return.

"The fair continues to grow year after year thanks to the public's warm reception and the support for small local businesses."

Marina Vicente · Manager of Diecisiete Musas
The fair will also feature Valencian literature, poetry sessions, children's activities, and a revamped layout to optimize the development of all scheduled events. The official inauguration will be on Friday, April 17, at 6:00 PM, with the closing ceremony on Sunday, April 19, at 2:00 PM.
