The Camp d'Elx has launched a new festive cycle that will mobilize its twelve districts with over 200 events, spanning from spring well into autumn.

The sash imposition ceremony for the queens and ladies of Perleta-Maitino, scheduled for April 10, will mark the beginning of a program that will solidify these celebrations as a benchmark for the social, cultural, and traditional life of the municipality of Elx.

"We are starting a new festive cycle that will once again fill all the districts of Camp d’Elx with life."

Andrés Coves · President of the Unió de Festers del Camp d'Elx (UFECE)
The festive calendar, covering spring and summer, will include everything from religious processions to popular street parties, as well as sports activities, cultural proposals, and gastronomic gatherings. The objective is to strengthen community coexistence and keep local traditions alive.
The Unió de Festers del Camp d'Elx (UFECE) has highlighted the importance of the involvement of the festive commissions from each district, made up of residents who work year-round to organize every detail of the celebrations. These commissions are considered the heart of many of the municipality's festive traditions.
Key dates in the cycle include sash impositions and processions that will take place in various districts. After Perleta-Maitino, events will follow in María Auxiliadora (May 9 and May 24), La Hoya (May 29 and June 14), Alzavares (June 12), Torrellano Bajo (June 26 and July 5), Matola (July 3 and July 19), Valverde (July 10 and July 26), Torrellano (July 17 and December 8), Ángel de la Guarda (July 24 and August 2), Las Bayas (August 28 and December 6), La Marina (September 5 and October 4), and San Isidro (September 11 and May 17). Additionally, pilgrimages such as San Isidro on May 2 and Santa Marta on August 1 will be included.
