The Torrevieja delegation, comprising nearly 50 athletes, stood out for both its broad participation and the high competitive level demonstrated across all categories. The final tally reflects the team's excellent work throughout the season, with 7 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals, consolidating the club as a regional benchmark in this discipline.
In the gold medal category, athletes particularly shone in the junior, infant, and cadet divisions, in addition to the relay teams that also reached the top of the podium. Victories in the junior male, infant female, infant male, and cadet female relays showcased the group's significant depth and coordination.
Silver medals were earned by various athletes in the junior, infant, and cadet categories, and notably by veterans, who also secured runner-up positions in several relay teams, reaffirming the club's collective competitiveness.
Regarding the bronze medals, athletes in the junior, infant, and cadet categories reached the podium, completing a comprehensive medal haul for the Torrevieja team. One of the veterans earned a silver in this regional event, adding to a silver medal achieved at the Spanish Rowing Ergometer Championship over 1,000 meters, as well as two golds at the Spanish Open —in 1,000 meters and sprint— held last March in Cartagena.
The Real Club Náutico Torrevieja highly values the team's overall performance, highlighting both the results and the attitude and commitment of all athletes. This regional championship reaffirms the excellent form of the rowing section, which continues to grow and achieve success in every competition, marking a new milestone for the club as it strengthens its commitment to grassroots development and high performance in rowing ergometry.
