The Holy Week Museum of Orihuela hosted the awards ceremony for the “Tell Me a Holy Week Story” contest, organized by the Junta Mayor de Cofradías, with a large public turnout.

The event, which completely filled the venue, included the participation of the Councilor for Education, Vicente Pina, and the Councilor for Festivities, Rocío Ortuño. The ceremony was presided over by the president of the Junta Mayor, José Sáez Sironi, accompanied by the entity's vice-president.
During the gala, a total of 100 diplomas were presented for the best works, along with three prizes in each of the categories: drawings for fifth-grade Primary students and stories for sixth-grade Primary students, and first and second-year ESO students.
The central area of the museum gathered over 200 people, and the top-ranked participants in each category had the opportunity to publicly read their stories to all attendees. All awarded stories, as well as selected drawings, are part of a commemorative book distributed during the event.
This fifth edition of the awards was dedicated to Chelo Moñino Miquel. The president of the Junta Mayor highlighted the importance of new generations for the future of Orihuela's Holy Week, stating: “You are the future of Holy Week, and as we can see, we are in good health. This is a very important objective for this Junta Mayor: to work for children and young people”.
The event concluded with a snack served in the Junta Mayor's halls for all attendees, marking the end of an afternoon of fellowship and recognition for the talent of the younger generation.
