A driver was injured this Monday after a traffic accident involving an overturned tipper truck on the CV-91, at the exit of the highway and the roundabout of Almoradí.

The alert was received at 4:37 PM, and members of the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Alicante were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed that the driver had managed to exit the vehicle on his own.

Emergency services attended to the driver upon the arrival of medical resources. Additionally, firefighters worked to contain the oil spill caused by the incident and prevent risks to traffic and the environment.

The operation concluded at 5:45 PM, after the area was secured and the spill from the overturned truck was controlled.
