Personnel from the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Alicante had to intervene in the accident. Upon the firefighters' arrival, the driver had already managed to exit the vehicle on his own and was receiving attention from health services. The operation, which began at 4:37 PM and concluded at 5:45 PM, also included containing an oil spill caused by the incident.
The aim of the oil spill containment efforts was to reduce risks on the roadway and facilitate the return to normal conditions in the roundabout area. The operation involved a command unit, a heavy urban pump, and a light urban pump, with a team consisting of a sergeant, a corporal, and four firefighters from the Almoradí station.
