The Contracting Board, meeting on April 14, proceeded to open the technical documentation of the bidding companies. This step follows the verification of the administrative documentation submitted by the companies vying for the contract.
The companies continuing in the bidding process are Allariz 424 Investments, Vigiprot Servicios Generales, Gestión Ambiental Urbana, Limcamar, A Punto Mantenimientos Costa Blanca, ISS Facility Services, Actua Servicios y Medio Ambiente, Fomento Valencia Mantenimiento y Limpieza, Servicios Auxiliares de Mantenimiento, L’Operosa S.P.A., and the UTE formed by Cesyr Estudios y Construcción and Grupo Floridablanca Limpieza y Servicios.
Conversely, the board agreed to exclude the company Kodima Global, as it failed to demonstrate the technical solvency required in the specifications, by not presenting similar works for the minimum volume required to qualify for the contract.
The tender includes a base bidding budget of 985,686.85 euros, with an estimated total value of 1,477,464.94 euros including the possible contract extension. The service will have an initial duration of two years, with the option to extend it for one more year if the City Council so decides. The contract includes the cleaning of municipal buildings, administrative dependencies, and educational centers in the municipality.
The tender was reactivated after the City Council decided to annul the tender published at the end of 2025, after detecting an error in the award criteria that could violate the Public Sector Contracts Law. The council then opted to reverse the process and redo the specifications before re-issuing the procedure.
This contract has generated anticipation in the sector as it is one of the most relevant municipal services of the council and seeks to address accumulated neighborhood complaints in recent years regarding the cleanliness of some public facilities. After the opening of the technical offers, the documentation has been sent to the municipal engineer for evaluation, a step prior to the opening of economic offers and the final award of the service.
