The measure, approved with votes in favor from PP, PVI, and VOX, and against from PSPV and Compromís, aims to provide legal certainty to this urban area. This will allow for the completion of its management and transformation, facilitating that the affected plots can acquire the status of building land, as they are already registered in the Property Registry.
This modification comes after the judicial annulment of previous planning instruments for the sector, such as the Partial Plan of 2004 and the Improvement Plan of 2007. This situation left this area of the municipality without detailed valid planning.
“"We continue to advance in the processing of one of the major messes inherited from previous municipal governments, and we put an end to the inaction in this PAI with detailed planning that enables the City Council to conclude the urbanization works with the intention of giving the status of building land to the different plots."
The affected sector has a total area of 42,818 square meters. Of this extension, 32,404 square meters correspond to Execution Unit 1 (UE-1), which is practically urbanized with private plots, roads, and endowment areas. The City Council plans to consolidate this area and reinforce public endowments.
The remaining 10,414 square meters are integrated into Execution Unit 2 (UE-2), where there are constructions prior to the annulment of the previous planning. This unit will require new planning for its urban regularization. With this definitive approval, the City Council seeks to close a complex urban situation that had been dragging on for two decades and adapt the planning to the current reality.
