San Agustín Square in Vinaròs was the venue for the Community Health Fair, an initiative by the Vinaròs Health Department in collaboration with the City Council and the Spanish Red Cross, aimed at fostering healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
The event, held to mark World Health Day, featured numerous Primary Care professionals. These experts offered a variety of activities and resources designed to promote healthy living habits among citizens and, in doing so, contribute to the prevention of various diseases.
Among the proposals available at the fair were capillary blood glucose checks, advice sessions on balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyles, health education, and activities focused on emotional well-being and health. The main objective was to bring Primary Care services closer to the population, reinforce the importance of self-care and prevention, and consolidate community health as a fundamental pillar for improving residents' quality of life.
