“"The Pedagogical Week has consolidated over the years as a meeting point for the entire educational community, where experiences, projects, and reflections on the present and future of education are exchanged. Reaching the tenth edition is also a demonstration of the city's commitment to education as a driver of social transformation and a fundamental axis of our city project for the future."

The city of Ontinyent will host the tenth edition of the Pedagogical Week from April 14 to 17, an event bringing together students, teachers, families, and educational professionals with a program focused on innovation and reflection.
This initiative by the Ontinyent City Council has become an essential meeting point for the educational community, offering a combination of pedagogical innovation, scientific dissemination, and spaces for reflection on the future of education. The event is part of the educational city project, with active participation from schools, entities, and cultural institutions.
Activities will begin on Tuesday, April 14, at the Ontinyent Campus of the University of Valencia with the inauguration of the exhibition “Teachers, Schools and Pedagogies of Francoism”, led by Professor Mª Luisa Vázquez de Agredos. This will be followed by the presentation of the winning project of the FUVA Early Childhood Education Research Award, “Cons-ciencia 0-3”, coordinated by Almudena Marín. On the same day, the former plenary hall of the City Council will host the elections for the Municipal School Council, and in the afternoon, the Campus will showcase innovative educational projects from Ontinyent's schools.
On Wednesday, April 15, the Conservatory Auditorium will host the presentation of Alba magazine, followed by the awarding of the Ciutat d'Ontinyent Musical Stimulus Awards. On Thursday, April 16, science outreach will take center stage with science monologues by Ricardo Moure at Sala Gomis, and a talk for families about opportunities in Vocational Training at the Textile Museum, organized by ACTAIO.
The Pedagogical Week will conclude on Friday, April 17, with the Student Fair at the Exhibition Center, where students can explore academic and professional options in La Vall d'Albaida and nearby regions. The day will end with the CDANSA 2026 show by the Valencia Dance Conservatory at Sala Gomis.
