The day began with the inauguration of the exhibition “Teachers, Schools and Pedagogies of Francoism,” presented by Professor Carme Agulló. This exhibition reviews education during that historical period, focusing on teachers, educational models, and the social context of the time.
Subsequently, the work “Cons-ciencia 0-3. The awakening of scientific thought in the first cycle of Early Childhood Education” was presented, which won the III Research Award in Early Childhood Education “Col·lectiu Balarma”. Professor Almudena Marín was responsible for explaining this project, developed together with José Cantó, Pepe Viana, and Lluís Ortiz, members of the group “Estels d’Infància”.
The event was attended by various institutional representatives, including Mayor Jorge Rodríguez and councilors Óscar Borrell and Ferran Gandia, as well as faculty, students, and other professionals from the educational sector. During the day, the importance of the Campus as a space for research and innovation was highlighted, along with the need to give visibility to the projects developed there.
The award-winning project advocates for fostering scientific thinking from an early age, specifically in the 0 to 3 years cycle, considering this stage crucial for children's development. It also emphasizes the need to recognize the educational value of this cycle and to better connect research with classroom practice.
“"The Pedagogical Week serves to share experiences and reflect on education, and it is important to start with a project focused on educational innovation."
