The band Taburete, led by Willy Bárcenas and Antón Carreño, offered a vibrant performance at the Festival del Huerto held in Elche. The group took the stage to showcase their talent and connect with an audience that pulsed to the rhythm of their songs in a unique setting like the surroundings of the Torre de los Vaillos.
The concert was part of their tour for the album El perro que fuma, with which the band explores stories of love, journeys with emotional scars, lasting friendships, and difficult goodbyes. During the performance, the group highlighted their excitement for the start of the season: "we are very excited to start the summer concerts on this stage, in this city, and with this atmosphere." This statement summarized the special ambiance experienced in the Elche Palm Grove, where the audience responded with enthusiasm.
The Festival del Huerto experienced its first major night with Taburete as the protagonist of the official opening. The band was responsible for "raising the curtain" on this first edition, which aims for continuity and seeks to establish itself as a benchmark cultural and gastronomic experience in Elche.
The natural setting of the Palm Grove and the boutique festival concept created a perfect blend of music, nature, and gastronomy. The experience was complemented by the characteristic 'trenet' (little train), which transported attendees and well-known faces to the venue, where a DJ set the mood upon arrival with music to warm up the crowd.
Among the attendees were figures such as Arantxa de Benito, Elsa Anka, Alexia Rivas, José Carlos Montoya, Rosario Mohedano, Beatriz Jarrín, and Estefanía Luyk, as well as content creators like Sitios de Elena, Paloma Roca, Carolina de Souza, and Anika Banana. The event not only featured live music but also a social and experiential atmosphere that made the night a special occasion. Gastronomy, nature, and entertainment merged in a space designed for enjoyment from start to finish.
With this first edition, the Festival del Huerto solidifies itself as a proposal that aims to grow and become an unmissable event on Elche's cultural calendar.
