Nómade Festival Returns to Costera and Vall d'Albaida with Music and Heritage

The fifth edition of the Nómade festival offers concerts, gastronomy, and cultural routes in Moixent, Ontinyent, and Bocairent from May 1st to 3rd.

The fifth edition of the Nómade festival will take place from May 1st to 3rd in Moixent, Ontinyent, and Bocairent, offering a blend of concerts, gastronomy, and cultural activities to attract tourism to the Costera and Vall d'Albaida regions.

The Diputación de València hosted the presentation of this event, which aims to revitalize the Valencian interior. The first vice-president of the Diputación de València and Councillor for Economic Promotion of Ontinyent, Natàlia Enguix, highlighted the festival's importance in attracting quality tourism to these areas.

Moixent will kick off the Nómade festival on Friday, May 1st, with a proposal focused on Iberian heritage. A guided tour of the Bastida de les Alcusses Iberian site has been scheduled, where participants can explore walls and dwellings to learn about the daily life of this 4th-century BC community.
The program in Ontinyent will concentrate on Saturday, May 2nd. In the morning, the Mercat Gastro (Arte)Sano will host a performance by Micromambo, a group featuring Jairo Zavala (Depedro), Martín Bruhn, and Héctor Rojo (Sr. Mañana). In the evening, the Glorieta de Ontinyent will be the main concert venue, featuring Chiquita Movida, the new artistic phase of Rayden, alongside Mediyama and Skiz.
Finally, Bocairent will close the weekend on Sunday, May 3rd, with its third consecutive participation in the festival. The program will include a heritage route, a gastronomic area in the Town Hall square, and a concert by La Titana in the same location. Mayor Xavi Molina emphasized the combination of culture and territory offered by the festival.
