Provincial authorities, accompanied by the mayor, checked the progress of these actions, which aim to unify all municipal services in one building and dignify public spaces for the enjoyment of residents. The works are expected to be completed between the end of this year and the beginning of next year.
“"These are two very important actions for the town, planned for a long time, and they will serve to dignify buildings that our neighbors will enjoy, and with which El Palomar will evolve ten years in just a few months."
The president of the Provincial Council expressed his satisfaction on his first visit to the municipality, emphasizing the importance of being close to towns, especially the smallest ones, to guarantee basic services and uphold local traditions. The vice-president highlighted provincial investments in the Vall d'Albaida region, which enable the sustainable development of municipalities and meet their needs.
In addition to these works, El Palomar has been allocated 805,000 euros in the Open Plan, a higher amount than in previous investment plans. Thanks to this program, the municipality has been able to adapt the 0 to 2-year-old classroom in the public school, build a park between the school and the hermitage, and a paddle tennis court in the sports area. A pool cleaning robot and a vehicle for park and garden maintenance have also been acquired, in addition to aid of 300,000 euros for the purchase of land for the future senior citizens' residence.
