The municipalist party Ens Uneix formalized its expansion in Vall d'Albaida this Sunday with the presentation of the new local group Aielo Ens Uneix. This project is coordinated by a former Egevasa manager, who brings over 20 years of experience in public management.
The presentation event, held at a fraternal lunch that gathered dozens of mayors, councilors, and supporters from across the region, served to introduce the duo leading the new group: the coordinator and another local leader. The leaders of the new group were sponsored by the party's general secretary and the mayor of Ontinyent, and the vice-president of the Diputación de València.
The new coordinator brings significant experience in public management, including a three-year tenure as director-manager of Egevasa and as area director at Divalterra. His specialization in employment policies has led him to work as a technician at Labora (formerly Servef) and to lead various training and employment programs in municipalities such as Ontinyent, Canals, and Alcoy.
“"My purpose is to work for our town and our region in the way Ens Uneix already does in Ontinyent, El Palomar, or Bufali, avoiding unproductive tension and betting on constructive ideas."
The party's general secretary emphasized that the launch of this delegation demonstrates that municipalism is a vibrant and necessary project for towns to have the strength they deserve. The vice-president of the Diputación de València added that the union of independent mayors and councilors from the region allows them to occupy real decision-making spaces where what matters is the well-being of every resident of Vall d'Albaida.
The event also provided an opportunity to continue collecting signatures for the Popular Legislative Initiative (ILP) for the reform of the Valencian Electoral Law. This initiative seeks to reduce the representation threshold from 5% to 3% to ensure greater citizen representation in institutions.
