Theater, music, and a lot of stage passion will fill the Aula Magna stage at the Gandia Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) with Polímono. After months of rehearsals and teamwork, the group will present its two new productions, open to the entire university community and the general public.
The first performance of the month will be "The Dead Poets Society", an adaptation inspired by the well-known story about the passion for literature, freedom, and the power of pursuing one's dreams. The play can be seen tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20th, at 5:30 PM, in the Aula Magna of the UPV Gandia Campus.
A week later, the group will bring the mythical musical "Little Shop of Horrors" to the stage, a fun proposal that combines humor, music, and unexpected situations. The event will take place on May 27th, at 6:30 PM, also in the campus's Aula Magna.
Polímono is much more than a theater group: it is a true scenic laboratory driven by students from the UPV Gandia Campus. It accommodates acting, improvisation, musicals, and artistic experimentation. A space designed for learning, creating, and fostering talent.
The group is part of Generación Espontánea UPV and is open to the participation of students interested in the performing arts, whether they have previous experience or wish to start in theater.
