The L'Alcora City Council has confirmed its support for the Bestialc festival, which will celebrate its 29th edition on June 20th at the Pista Jardín venue.

The mayor, Samuel Falomir, along with the Councilor for Festivals, Vanessa Periz, and representatives of the DSK collective, met to finalize the details of this musical event, considered one of the oldest and most distinctive cultural gatherings in the province of Castellón. The festival will once again bring together national and international acts, consolidating L'Alcora as a reference point for underground and alternative music.
The council is contributing 15,000 euros this year for the organization of the festival, which is expected to attract visitors from across the province and beyond, thereby generating economic activity and dynamism in the town. The City Council highlights the "unique personality" of Bestialc, which, after almost three decades, continues to grow without losing its essence. Falomir emphasized that "Bestialc is much more than music; it is an authentic, different cultural proposal with its own identity that projects the name of L'Alcora beyond our borders".
The upcoming edition, scheduled for 2026, will feature 14 national and international bands offering 14 uninterrupted hours of music spread across two stages. The lineup includes bands from countries such as the United States, Denmark, Ukraine, Brazil, and the Congo, as well as local acts and groups from the province of Castellón. The organization will maintain its commitment to musical eclecticism, combining styles such as garage, punk, grunge, rockabilly, hardcore, power pop, soul, rhythm & blues, and experimental proposals.
Confirmed artists include names like Grössrama, Al Reeves, No Valentine, The Concrete Boys, Hank Robot, El Vez & Lord Rochester, The Roves, Ming City Rockers, Os Estilhaços, Tokororo, J. Teixi Band, Thee Eliam, Ídolos Muertos, Ministerio del Caos, and Paco Roca DJ. Bestialc will maintain its free and open nature, reinforcing its position as an alternative cultural benchmark in the province.
