The fourth edition of Poecítrics in Palmera paid an emotional tribute to the recently deceased poet from Beniopa, Josep Piera, and was held at the Casa de la Cultura due to the threat of rain.

The Poecítrics event, which merges poetry and landscape amidst the citrus trees of the El Bartolí Botanical Garden, home to the Todolí Citrus Foundation in the municipality of Palmera, celebrated its fourth edition. This year, the event was moved to the Casa de la Cultura in the Safor region due to the forecast of rain.
This edition was marked by a beautiful and moving remembrance of the poet from Beniopa (Gandia), Josep Piera, who passed away last Easter Sunday. Piera had previously participated in this event two years ago, leaving a significant mark.
Words once again met the land and the landscape that inspires Mediterranean culture. On the eve of the centenary of the Generation of '27, this edition also sought to honor that constellation of authors who, in various ways, celebrated the landscape and fruits of the Mediterranean.
Poecítrics returned to its roots, to the origin of words and trees, celebrating what is closest: tradition, nature, and the emotion born from both.
This edition featured the participation of poets Berta Piñán, Carlos Marzal, José Manuel Prieto, Mario Obrero, and Susanna Lliberós. Under the artistic direction of Àngels Gregori, the event's poster was illustrated with the work Exvotos Citrus by artist Antoni Miralda.
