The city of Oliva has launched new initiatives to promote accessible tourism, including promotional material in braille and easy-read formats, funded by European grants.

As part of the Destination Tourist Sustainability Plan (PSTD), funded by European Next Generation funds, Oliva has implemented several measures to improve the visitor experience and make its local heritage more accessible.
Among the new features is the creation of accessible promotional material. This includes pamphlets, maps, and guides in easy-read versions, as well as braille resources and adapted content for visually and hearing-impaired individuals.
Furthermore, a new accessible multimedia guide for the historic center has been launched. Following the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to experience the digitalization project of the Palau Comtal firsthand during a demonstration held in Palau street.

"We want anyone visiting Oliva to be able to enjoy the destination regardless of their specific abilities or needs. We believe that 21st-century tourism must be for everyone."

The presentation was attended by the Councillor for Tourism, Salvador Llopis; Tourism Technician, Mireia Alemany; and the head of the Palau Comtal digitalization project in Oliva, Jordi Todolí.
