The mayor of Palma de Gandia has shared her reflections on the challenges and progress in municipal management, highlighting the importance of water and family reconciliation as central axes of her government's actions.

Water management has been one of the most critical points in the current legislature in Palma de Gandia. The locality has adhered to the high-level system of the commonwealth, a process that, although slow due to administrative bureaucracy, is underway. The municipal official emphasizes the importance of being a full member to participate in decisions and ensure the supply of drinking water for citizens.

"I would not go back on any decision because it has taught me a lot. I believe that making mistakes in any decision is necessary to grow."

Regarding political polarization, the municipal official acknowledges that it has reached Palma de Gandia, especially on sensitive issues such as the DANA (cold drop) or infrastructure funding. She regrets that decisions on aid may be influenced by the political affiliation of local councils and provincial governments, although she defends the ability to govern a small town without national politics contaminating the local debate.
Among the most notable projects that have been completed, she mentions the completion of the school, which was blocked, and the first phase of Sant Cristòfol Avenue, a historical demand. She also highlights the improvement of the drinking water service, considering it a "historic step" that has changed the lives of the town's people.
Other initiatives include the "Corresponsables" project, with a budget of 20,000 euros for family reconciliation, and the "Aula Respir," a pilot service for elderly people with functional diversity that combats loneliness and supports caregivers. The municipal official expresses her desire to soon promote sustainability, environmental, and waste management policies.
Regarding the political future, the mayor does not confirm whether she will run again as a candidate, but expresses her excitement and desire to continue working for her town, evaluating decisions with her team and the citizens. She highlights the 30% increase in the young population in the last two and a half years as a positive indicator for the future of the locality.
