Founded in late 2015 in the city of Oliva, MEGÒC has established itself as one of the most prominent choral groups in the Valencian Community. The ensemble is known for bringing together over 80 singers on stage, accompanied by a live band, offering an innovative scenic format that blends choral power with rhythm and meticulous staging.
The 'Concert of Stars' show promises an intense and emotional musical journey through major international music hits, performed in a choral format with live band accompaniment. The concert is divided into two main sections.
The first part will immerse the audience in the essence of gospel, featuring representative pieces from traditional and contemporary repertoire that evoke the spirit of American gospel. Songs like Oh Happy Day, This Little Light of Mine, or Every Praise will transform this section into a vibrant and spiritually powerful experience, combining energy, emotion, and audience participation.
The second part of the concert will feature a more contemporary repertoire, with a selection of great R&B/Soul, pop, and international rock hits that have resonated with various generations. Classics such as Unchain My Heart, Think, Sweet Caroline, Beat It, Eye of the Tiger, or Take On Me will be part of this section, culminating with a tribute to Queen, including interpretations of Somebody To Love and Bohemian Rhapsody, closing with a high-intensity scenic and musical finale designed to connect directly with attendees.
The combination of voices, the live band, and an immersive staging makes 'Concert of Stars' a complete musical experience, moving away from the conventional choral format towards a grand spectacle. The Oliva City Council is collaborating in the event's promotion and facilitating collective transport from the city for attendees.
This celebration marks the culmination of ten years of MEGÒC's journey and, at the same time, the beginning of a new phase for the project, aiming to continue its artistic and scenic growth. To ensure this anniversary is a shared celebration, the choir has established special conditions with reduced prices for groups of 10 or more attendees.
