The play, currently in production, is described as a “wacky comedy” and a “culinary melodrama” that humorously explores the universe of gastronomy and its growing social prominence. The production maintains the company's distinctive style, combining humor, music, rhythm, color, and audience participation, along with a special interaction with the local environment.
During the performances, the Teatro Serrano will transform into a scenic space dedicated to gastronomic culture. This proposal invites reflection on the current trend of culinary experiences and the importance they have acquired in society.
La Cubana has a long history of connections with Gandia, a city where it has performed on several occasions since its first visit in 1990. Its last presence in the town was in 2019 with the show 'Adéu Arturo'.
Tickets for the performances are now available for purchase through the theater's and the company's websites. Prices range from 25 to 35 euros, with special discounts for groups such as pensioners and Youth Card holders.
