This award positions a studio founded outside major creative hubs as the creator of the best web design in the entire Valencian Community. The category featured 14 finalist projects. This recognition consolidates CALETA STUDIO's career and reinforces the role of Valencian design created from the periphery, demonstrating that creative excellence is not bound by location, but by criteria, sensitivity, and method.
Founded in 2022, CALETA STUDIO has already accumulated 29 awards, over 50 press mentions, 5 print publications, and participation in 3 conferences and workshops. In just under four years, the studio has established itself as one of the most recognized emerging proposals in branding, web design, and custom digital development within the Valencian Community.
The awarded project aligns with the new positioning of Carles Faus Arquitectura, a studio that gained international projection after its Carmen House became one of the most viral houses on Pinterest in 2020. The website needed to reflect this global reach and its new identity: a portfolio of Mediterranean minimalism, with an artistic vision and functional clarity.
CALETA STUDIO designed a digital experience that balances precision and expression. The monospaced typography provides order and rhythm, while the images construct a freer, more artistic visual narrative. Additionally, a coordinate system and an interactive world map by hemisphere locate each project, highlighting the studio's international dimension.
The website also presented a technical challenge: over 80 projects and more than 2,000 optimized images to ensure fast, fluid, and consistent navigation, using adaptive images, lazy loading, caching, and weight control.
“"For us, this award has a very special value. That a studio from Gandia achieves the Gold for the best web design in the entire Valencian Community shows that good design does not depend on where you work from, but on the criteria, the demand, and the way of understanding each project."
With this recognition, CALETA STUDIO reinforces a career that has already allowed it to work for brands, institutions, and projects such as Universal, World Design Capital Valencia, Warner Music Spain, Multiópticas, ERRE Arquitectura, Bar Mistela, Del Poble, Ajuntament de València, and Ajuntament de Gandia.
