The Beniarjó council has opened applications for the new edition of the “Beniarjó te Beca” program, an initiative offering six paid training scholarships for young students during the summer months. These internships will take place in various municipal services.
The scholarships are aimed at individuals aged between 18 and 30 who are registered residents in any municipality within the province of Valencia and are currently pursuing official university studies, official master's degrees, intermediate or higher vocational training cycles, or Baccalaureate studies during the 2025-2026 academic year.
Each scholarship includes a financial award of 650 euros gross per month and requires a commitment of 25 hours per week. The duration will be one month, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of two months, starting on July 1, 2026, and ending on August 31, 2026.
Beneficiaries will be able to undertake their internships in areas such as socio-cultural, socio-sports, youth, festivals, administration, and IT, among others, depending on the student's profile and the municipality's needs.
Applications, which must be submitted using the official form available on the municipal website and electronic headquarters, will be accepted until June 17. Applicants will need to provide documents such as their ID, proof of enrollment for the 2025-2026 academic year, academic record, and any additional merits.
Selection will be based on a scoring system that considers residency in Beniarjó, academic record, language proficiency, complementary training, and socio-economic status.
“"It has been eight years since the Beniarjó City Council has been offering these grants, reaffirming its commitment to youth and the creation of opportunities. Through “Beniarjó te beca,” we aim for students to gain practical experience and supplement their academic training during the summer period."
