The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has completed the adaptation works on the N-332 thoroughfare in Sueca, between kilometers 252.1 and 257, with an investment of 4.32 million euros for pedestrians and bicycles.

This action, included in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and aligned with the State Strategy for Bicycle Use, has allowed the integration of the road into Sueca's urban environment. The main objective has been to expand the space for pedestrians and cyclists, improving safety and sustainable mobility in the locality.
To achieve this, a new bike lane has been built and existing sidewalks have been widened. Additionally, various measures have been implemented to calm road traffic, such as replacing intersections with roundabouts, reducing lane width, and installing a semi-mountable median. The road surface has also been rehabilitated with sound-absorbing properties, elevated pedestrian crossings have been installed, and lighting has been renewed with LED technology.
Once the works are completed, the section of the N-332 will be transferred to the Sueca City Council, which will be responsible for its maintenance and management. The total investment has been 4.32 million euros, financed with European funds.
