The Cullera City Council has completed the renovation of the artificial turf at the La Partideta municipal sports center, an action aimed at modernizing the facilities and ensuring better conditions for users.

The intervention involved the complete replacement of the playing surface of the football 8 pitch, where state-of-the-art turf has been installed to increase safety, comfort, and resistance to continuous use. This area concentrates a significant portion of local sports activity, especially training and competitions for youth teams.
The council justifies the action due to the accumulated wear and tear of the previous surface, which had deteriorated after years of intensive use. In this regard, the improvement is part of the municipal strategy to strengthen youth sports and progressively update sports infrastructure.
In addition to the turf renovation, the works have included the installation of new goals, the replacement of protective nets behind them, and the implementation of an elevated irrigation system that replaces traditional sprinklers.
Furthermore, maintenance tasks have been carried out on the football 11 pitch to repair damage and condition the playing field. New rubber infill has also been added to improve footing and comfort for athletes.
With this action, the La Partideta sports center reinforces its role as one of Cullera's main sports venues, with high activity.
