The musical composition 'Cullera', a tribute to the Valencian municipality, will be performed this Sunday at the Taiwan National Concert Hall, featuring cellist Arturo Costa and pianist Juan Carlos Fernández-Nieto.

This piece, created by Gregory Fritze, is a Mediterranean-inspired work that seeks to evoke the memories and emotions of summers spent in the city of Cullera over more than three decades. The composer established strong bonds of friendship with the Costa family during this period, which inspired the creation of this melody.
The work was specifically written for cellist Arturo Costa, a native of Cullera. His performance represents a heartfelt musical tribute to his hometown and everything that makes it unique, establishing a cultural bridge between continents.

Our city is the birthplace of numerous highly talented musicians and boasts a rich band and pedagogical culture that, generation after generation, has positioned Cullera as a benchmark within the national and international music scene.

Arturo Costa, trained in Paris and at the Royal College of Music in London, has collaborated with prominent groups such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de Córdoba, the Orquesta Nacional de España, the Taipéi Symphony, and the Taipéi Philharmonic, carrying the name of Cullera worldwide. The event, scheduled for 7:30 PM, is considered a source of pride for the municipality, not only for its international projection but also for highlighting its long musical tradition.
