The town of Tous hosted the seventh edition of its gazpacho contest last Sunday, April 19. Once again, the event was highlighted by high participation and the excellent gastronomic level of the participating restaurants.
Following the jury's deliberation, first prize was awarded to Caníbal Burguer, from Alzira. Second place was taken by Restaurante El Greco, also from Alzira, and third prize went to Restaurante Ribera, from Carcaixent.
The day brought together restaurants from the Ribera region and other parts of the province, who presented their versions of this traditional dish, combining respect for the original recipe with culinary innovation.
The organization emphasized the festive atmosphere and the quality of the dishes presented, as well as the involvement of participants, the jury, institutions, and the attending public.
With this new edition, the Gastronomic Gazpacho Contest of Tous strengthens its position as a gastronomic benchmark in the Valencian Community, promoting culinary tradition and its projection in the territory.
