The Civil Guard has arrested two men at the Carlet courthouse for stealing their interpreter's mobile phone, after the victim located them with a call.

The incident occurred on April 11, when the two detainees were awaiting judicial proceedings at the Carlet courthouse. After requesting an interpreter's service, they took advantage of a lapse in attention to steal his mobile phone.
Shortly after, the victim, a 64-year-old man, noticed the theft and used the security guard's phone to call his own device. The two previously detained men answered the call, thus confirming their involvement in the theft.
Following the alert to the Civil Guard, several patrols conducted a search throughout different areas of Carlet. Finally, they managed to arrest the two men, aged 27 and 34, who were charged with a theft offense.
The victim's mobile phone was recovered, although the SIM card had been disposed of. The operation was carried out by agents from the Carlet Main Post, and the proceedings were handed over to the Civil and Instruction Section of the Carlet Plaza Court number 01.
