Torrent Hosts I AVAB-IFAA League 2026 Shoot with Great Participation

Nearly forty archers from across the Valencian Community and Murcia gathered for a day of camaraderie and sportsmanship in the FLINT modality.

The city of Torrent was the setting for the I AVAB-IFAA League 2026 Shoot of the Valencian Community, an event that brought together nearly forty archers, including participants from the ADARMA club from Murcia.

The competition, held on Holy Saturday, took place in an atmosphere of camaraderie and sportsmanship. The activity began early in the morning with the reception of participants, followed by practice rounds and the start of the competition in FLINT modality, a discipline that combines different distances and tests the precision and consistency of the athletes.
After a first round, participants took a break for lunch before facing the second part of the event. The day concluded with the collaboration of the attendees themselves in collecting the equipment, reflecting the spirit of companionship that characterizes this sport.
During the event, the VI City of Torrent Trophy was awarded to the SAETA team from the ADARMA club of Murcia. Awards for the AVAB League 2025 were also presented, in which numerous athletes linked to Torrent stood out, such as Zoe Camons Lacuesta (1st place Junior Female TR), Rosario Roda Abril (1st place Veteran Female LB), Laura Montolio Simón (1st place Junior Female LB), and Félix Chavarrías Álvarez (2nd place Senior Male BHR), among others.
In this first shoot of the AVAB League 2026, the results have also been notable. Among the winners are Rosario Roda Abril (1st place Veteran Female LB), Laura Montolio Simón (1st place Junior Female LB), Stefano Corsino (1st place Veteran Male BBR), Eduard Gil Magraner (1st place Adult Male FU), Félix Chavarrías Álvarez (1st place Senior Male BHR), and José Manuel Pérez Estruch (1st place Senior Male TR).
The event has received support from the Torrent City Council, the Municipal Sports Foundation, and Caixa Popular, reinforcing the municipal commitment to promoting sports and hosting regional competitions in the city.
