This morning, the Sambori Awards 2026 ceremony took place at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón. These awards are highly renowned within the educational community and are deeply rooted in Valencian public schools.

During the presentation of the 'País' awards, which aim to promote and disseminate the literary use of Valencian in schools, a group of children took to the stage to show support for the indefinite teachers' strike that has been ongoing for weeks in the Valencian Community.

Holding green signs, the color representing the teachers' protests, the children read slogans such as: 'More investment in education', 'We love public school', 'Always in Valencian', and 'Thank you, teachers'.
