Gymnast Lluna Martí Expósito, from Burriana, has won the gold medal at the IV Fènix Trophy held in Alzira last Saturday, April 11, with a standout performance inspired by the song Un sueño imposible.

The event, which took place at the Palau d’Esports in the town, marked the beginning of the rhythmic gymnastics season in the Federation category in the Valencian Community. The competition, organized by the Club Rítmica Fènix Alzira, brought together over 40 clubs and more than 410 gymnasts in an intense day that ran from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
Lluna Martí, representing the Club Escola Pintor Sorolla from Les Alqueries, competed in the Federation Junior B category with the ribbon apparatus. Her performance stood out among the 15 participants, captivating both the judges and the audience.

Her routine, based on the piece “Un sueño imposible” performed by Paloma San Basilio, stood out for its expressiveness, technique, and artistic sensibility, elements that allowed her to capture the attention of both the jury and the public.

Martí's choreography, inspired by the well-known song from the musical Man of La Mancha, conveyed a message of perseverance and overcoming adversity. On the mat, the gymnast displayed a combination of strength and elegance, reflecting the values of the musical piece, focused on facing difficulties with determination.
This triumph not only recognizes Lluna Martí's individual talent but also the continuous work of the Club Escola Pintor Sorolla, which continues to consolidate its trajectory in Valencian rhythmic gymnastics with new successes.
