The Espai d'Art Contemporani de Castelló (EACC) transforms this weekend into a living laboratory of sound creation, with two proposals that place electronic music and contemporary performance at the heart of the city's cultural program.

On Friday, April 17, at 7:00 PM, Dutch artist and composer Richard Veenstra will offer a concert. His work, based on modular synthesis, digital processing, and granular techniques, constructs constantly transforming acoustic landscapes, combining the richness of analog timbres with the precision of digital tools. Veenstra has presented his work in renowned venues such as the Palais de Tokyo, Berghain, and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
On Saturday, April 18, also at 7:00 PM, the streets of Castelló will become the stage for 'Rierada Musical', a participatory performance that revisits the creative universe of Carles Santos. The route will connect the EACC with the Sala Sant Miquel of the Caixa Castelló Foundation, passing through emblematic points such as Plaça Borrull, Plaça Hernán Cortés, Carrer Major, and Plaça de l'Ajuntament.
This proposal will bring together dancers from Nodus 2025, the UPV's action art group, the Vinaròs Music Band, and pianist Víctor Trescolí. Together, they will create a collective experience where music, dance, and performative action will dialogue with the urban space, reinterpreting Santos' iconic pieces such as Minimalet sur mer or La Pantera Imperial.
With these two proposals, the EACC reinforces its commitment to sound art, electronic music, and experimental practices, offering the public an experience that transcends traditional formats and opens new forms of listening and participation in Castelló's contemporary culture.
