Compromís per Castelló has criticized the municipal government's management, stating that the Local Police still do not have their work schedules for 2026 by the end of April, and that the labor agreement remains unupdated.

The Valencianist coalition expressed its concern after meeting with the Professional Union of Local Police and Firefighters (SPPLB). According to the party, this situation demonstrates a clear lack of planning in an essential service for the city of Castelló.

"It is an absolute disgrace that the Local Police of Castelló still do not have their schedules for 2026. We are about to finish April, and Mr. Ortolá takes many photos, lives off propaganda just like Ms. Carrasco, but what he is not doing is working."

The Compromís spokesperson added that the absence of these schedules, which are a basic tool for work organization and staff reconciliation, highlights the inefficiency of the right-wing government in managing public services.
In addition to the schedule issue, the party warns that the Local Police labor agreement expired in 2025 and that the municipal government has not initiated the necessary work for its renewal. Compromís considers it serious that no progress has been made in a process that should have been addressed in advance to ensure continuity and security in the agents' working conditions.
The coalition emphasizes that the new agreement must address long-standing issues, such as the updating of productivity bonuses, which have been frozen and need to be reviewed to keep pace with the CPI and the cost of living. Compromís advocates that this update must be a priority in the new agreement and assures that, when in government, it will promote the improvement of the Local Police's working conditions.
