The CD Castellón Youth B team has fulfilled its promotion objective to the National League, a goal that eluded them last season. With four matches remaining in the 2025/26 league, the players have confirmed their return to this important category.
The celebration took place this Sunday at field B of the Gaetà Huguet facilities, where CD Castellón decisively defeated Alboraya C, one of the strongest rivals in the category and second in the table, with a convincing 4-1 victory. The goals that sealed the win were scored by Elian Gómez, with two goals, Dani Gómez, and Marcos Romera.
Throughout the current season, the Youth B team has shown great consistency, with 20 victories, four draws, and only three defeats in 27 matches played. These losses occurred away from home, against Bétera (3-0), Alboraya C (4-3), and Inter San José (1-0). The team has stood out for its offensive style, scoring 78 goals and conceding 31.
This promotion is a success for the club, as the Youth B team has been the most consistent squad in the Lliga Comunitat Juvenil (north), a category that debuted this 2025/26 season. The champions of each group earn direct promotion to the National League. With this result, the Youth A team, which secured its permanence in the Honor Division with a 2-0 victory against Patacona, will have its second youth team competing in the National League.
