Castelló presented this Saturday the CD ‘Fins ací hem arribat’, which captures the farewell concert of the group Els Llauradors, held on May 24, 2025. The initiative aims to preserve the group's musical and cultural legacy.

The city of Castelló officially presented this Saturday the album ‘Fins ací hem arribat’, a recording that immortalizes the farewell concert of the renowned group Els Llauradors. The event, which took place on May 24, 2025, in the Plaza Mayor, now becomes a sonic heritage thanks to this new discographic production.
The CD presentation was held in the plenary hall of the City Council, presided over by the mayor, Begoña Carrasco. The mayor emphasized the heritage and sentimental value of Els Llauradors' music, highlighting that their songs are part of Castellón's cultural identity and the city's intangible heritage. The CD's release will ensure the "forever" preservation of the group's final concert.
The City Council has announced that the CD will be strategically distributed to schools, gaiata commissions, and other entities linked to Castellón's culture and festivities. Additionally, interested individuals can purchase it at the Municipal Archive or through the municipal publications service website.
During the event, the mayor highlighted the career of Els Llauradors as disseminators of Castellón's language, traditions, and festivals, with a special emphasis on their historical connection to the Magdalena festival and iconic songs like ‘Magdalena Festa Plena’, ‘Rotllo i Canya’, or ‘Gayata’. She also acknowledged their contribution to promoting the city's identity symbols, such as the Mare de Déu del Lledó.
Representing the group, César Agut expressed gratitude for the institutional support for the project, advocating for traditional music as an element of "identity, present, and future." Meanwhile, the Councilor for Culture, Vicent Sales, noted that the farewell concert was conceived as a historic tribute and praised the musical production by Juanjo Carratalá.
The event concluded with live performances of several iconic songs from Els Llauradors' repertoire, including ‘Salve Bressolera’, ‘Magdalena Festa Plena’, and ‘Mari Rosa’, marking the end of a day dedicated to honoring Castellón's culture and traditions.
