Eight teams will compete for one of the six available spots to be promoted to the third tier of national basketball. Rigalli Alginet, having qualified as the first in Conference E, will face Bizkaia Zornotza, DM Group Mollet, and Jaén Paraíso Interior.
The other eight teams in Group A will play their matches in Badajoz. Velabasket CB Sueca will also participate in this phase, competing in the Extremaduran capital.
Furthermore, the Alginet pavilion will also host the matches of the third subgroup, which includes Damex CB Algeciras, Oposita Marín Ence Peixegalego, Movistar Estudiantes, and NB Torrent.
Rigalli Alginet secured their qualification after being crowned champions of Conference E, overcoming CB Puerto de Sagunto in a two-legged tie. The first leg in Alginet ended with a score of 102 to 99 in favor of the home team, while the return leg concluded with a 69 to 67 for Puerto de Sagunto, which was not enough to overturn the deficit.
Although details regarding the dates and times of the matches are pending confirmation, they are expected to be announced soon. The promotion play-off is scheduled to kick off next Thursday, May 28th.
