A breakdown in railway infrastructure interrupted Cercanías train services on line C2 between Benifaió and Silla for nearly two hours, also causing delays on line C1.

Train services on the C2 commuter line between the stations of Benifaió and Silla were interrupted this Monday morning for nearly two hours due to a breakdown in the railway infrastructure. The incident, reported at 07:23 AM, also caused average delays of half an hour on line C1 trains.
Around 09:20 AM, Adif reported that train circulation had been restored on that section via one track. Meanwhile, Renfe established an alternative road transport service between the towns of Algemesí and Silla for passengers affected by the incident.
Adif has stated that its workers are working to resolve the issue with the electrification systems as soon as possible.
