Castelló City Council Supports Facsa-UJI Scholarships to Boost Young Talent
The initiative, celebrating its tenth edition, has awarded 22 grants to Universitat Jaume I students residing in the city.

The Castelló City Council has supported the Facsa-UJI scholarship program, which in its tenth edition has awarded 22 grants to undergraduate students from Universitat Jaume I residing in the city to help cover tuition fees.
Since its launch in the 2016-2017 academic year, this initiative has provided scholarships to a total of 241 students. The grants were awarded based on economic and academic criteria, determining the beneficiaries of the total budget of 22,000 euros.
The scholarship award ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Castellón, Begoña Carrasco; the Vice-Rector for Students and Healthy Living, Mamen Pastor; the CEO of Facsa, Elena Llopis; the Head of Institutional Relations for Facsa in Castellón, Rafael Ferrer, and the Manager of the UJI General Foundation, Juan Antonio Bertolín.

Carrasco added that the future is built with trained and talented young people who have opportunities to develop and stay here, highlighting the value of these scholarships in helping students and strengthening the bond between young talent and their city.
For her part, Vice-Rector Mamen Pastor thanked Facsa for its ongoing alliance and collaboration with the public university of Castellón in promoting and supporting university talent. She congratulated the scholarship recipients for their dedication and urged them to give back this investment to society through their professional practice.
