The popular Utiel Tapas Route returns on April 17th and 18th, solidifying its position as one of the municipality's main gastronomic and tourist attractions with a record participation of establishments and wineries.

Organized by the Utiel City Council in collaboration with the local Hospitality Association, this edition of the route expands its offerings with a total of 22 hospitality establishments and 14 wineries involved. The event, which annually attracts hundreds of residents and visitors, reinforces the promotion of local gastronomy and wines from the DOP Utiel-Requena.
Participating bars, cafes, restaurants, and pubs will offer a pairing of tapas and wine for a single price of 4 euros. The culinary proposals will combine traditional recipes with innovations, aiming to satisfy all palates.

"The consolidation of this event in the local calendar reflects the involvement of the hospitality sector and the warm reception from the public, which are key to its growth."

One of the main attractions will be the Wine Tunnel, celebrating its third edition in the courtyard of Casa Alamanzón. This year, the number of participating wineries expands to 14. This space will allow visitors to taste a selection of wines in one-hour sessions, scheduled for Friday afternoon and Saturday morning and afternoon. As a novelty, the tastings will be accompanied by live music, featuring the group Acoustic Covers. Tickets, priced at 15 euros, have limited capacity.
Live music will also fill the streets throughout the weekend with performances by local groups. Sonrisa Vertical will perform on Friday in Plaza de San Juan, while Mistelas Band will do so on Saturday in Plaza Puerta del Sol, with repertoires focused on pop-rock and indie.
Additionally, the program will be completed with the Utiel en tu interior open days, offering free visits to municipal tourist resources, such as underground wineries and museums. Thus, the Utiel Tapas Route presents itself as a complete weekend plan combining gastronomy, wine, music, and tourism, boosting local economic and social activity.
