The Fundació Caixa Rural Vila-real and the Vila-real City Council have organized 'La nostra festa', a day dedicated to the town's children with recreational and inclusive activities in the Plaza Mayor.
This Friday, Vila-real's Plaza Mayor was transformed into a space of fun and learning for young people. The event, a collaboration between the Fundació Caixa Rural Vila-real and the local council, was attended by the mayor of Vila-real, José Benlloch, as well as Amelia Rovira and Enrique Cortés, members of the Fundació Caixa Rural Board of Trustees, and several councilors from the municipal corporation.
As tradition dictates, when the Easter holidays arrive, the Foundation wants to dedicate a day to the little ones and their families, fostering inclusion, cooperativism, and traditions.
The day offered a wide range of activities, including over thirty large-format wooden games, inflatable castles, craft workshops, and music. Families also enjoyed natural orange juice, courtesy of the Naranjito de la Fundació Caixa Rural. Furthermore, the city's traditional giants did not want to miss the Cooperativism festival, offering all attendees the opportunity to get to know them up close and take photos.
One of the fundamental pillars of the Foundation is the promotion of inclusion, especially for people with functional diversity. For this reason, the wooden games were adapted to ensure that children with special educational needs could fully participate in all activities. The Foundation's trustees highlighted the importance of this adaptation.
